LTE data not working on Verizon iPhone 5.

I'm having a similar issue with AT&T. The LTE data worked when I first got the phone on Friday and it was lightening fast, but now... NOTHING! I have a great signal (3-5 bars all the times I've tried) but it's just not doing anything today. No webpages are loading, itunes isn't loading.... zilch!

Just a question here, but why would you want to use your data plan at home when you're on your wifi?

Before trying that, I did a restart (shut the phone off then back on) and that actually worked for me.

What better way to test out the "LTE could be faster than your home wifi" claim...

Of course I hope no one is using their data while at home but I played around with it for a bit when I first got it, and it's definitely faster than my home wifi. ➕

OK that makes sense. I plan on doing that test as soon as my 5 arrives too. LOL 😉

Good fix. The other option is power down the phone by holding down the Sleep/Wake button for 10 sec or so.

Then power back up. Should sort the issue.

Yeah it truly is mind boggling how fast this phone is. Compared it to my friends Galaxy S3 this past weekend and it left it in the dust.

Him and I are always putting our phones head to head as he prefers Samsung phones and I prefer the iPhone. Needless to say, everything looks better on the iPhone. The only edge the Samsung had was the screen size, but even that was taken with a grain of salt. Standing outside in the sun, the iPhone screen comes through a lot brighter while you have to literally strain to see what's on the S3's screen.

You sound very biased in your opinion. I own both the iPhone 5 (personal) and the Galaxy S3 (work) and I don't think one or the other is light years better than the other. THey both have their pros and cons. The iPhone IMO has the better design and is overall more user friendly. The GS3 on the other hand is much more customizable and has way more features (NFC, expandable storage, face recognition lock, live backgounds, etc). Both are great phones that have nice features that the other phone doesn't have.

Same issue here...have Verizon iPhone 5 -32GB . LTE worked well for the first month but now keeping dropping LTE and for the past couple of day my phone is only showing 3G connection. I tried trouble shootnig with Verizon rep over the phone...no luck. Took my phone to the verizon store and they swapped the sim card ..worked fine for 30mts then the phone went back to 3G. Just frustrated...

I have unlimited data plan...not sure if its something to do with it.
