Oct 1, 2012 3:25 PM in response to rob buitronby Gary Scotland, use the finder
open up the folder with your images, select the ones you want ( command click to select multiple images)
drag the files from the finder window direct on to the keynote page

May 14, 2016 12:52 PM in response to Gary Scotlandby annie3,I have this same problem... the ONLY thing I can do is drop one photo at a time into an individual slide... I have 56 photos for 56 slides. Why can't I drag anything to the navigator panel? It WILL NOT work... i've tried to drag from every place i can think of.

May 14, 2016 7:05 PM in response to annie3by pamfrombalwyn,In the illustration I have a ONE slide in Keynote and 3 files selected in Finder.
Position windows so you can see both your Finder window and your Keynote slide.
Drag the files from finder to just beneath the slide showing in Navigator within Keynote. When a Blue vertical bar appears DROP the files.
In my case 3 additional slides will be produced - one for each of the photos dragged and dropped.

May 16, 2016 10:25 AM in response to pamfrombalwynby annie3,Perhaps it's because I'm using it in the cloud thru icloud.com and not an application on my computer, but the option to drag to that area is just NOT available... I cannot do it. I can drag and the blue line never appears.

May 17, 2016 11:58 PM in response to annie3by pamfrombalwyn,Sorry - following on from the original post and you have made your comment under "Keynote for Mac" rather than "Keynote for iCloud" we assumed you too were using the desktop version of Keynote. Note to self: remember to check crystal ball before answering
