I have recently updated to iOS 6.0....doing this caused my MMS messaging to stop working. I cannot send or receive pictures via text message. However, I can send/receive pictures via iMessage. MMS via regular text messaging is a MUST-HAVE for me for work...Is there any way to fix this or will it be fixed with iOS 6.0.1? If so, when will 6.0.1 be released?

Have you tried this:
Go to Settings, Messaging and turn off MMS Messaging. Reboot. Go back into Settings, Messaging and turn on MMS Messaging.

if you ahve restored as new then i would either get a new sim or have your carrier reprovision the account
Do you possibly have the app "Onavo Extend" installed? If so, remove it and your MMS will start working again.
After looking at my original post, I realize that I have neglected to mention something important...and would like to apologize to those who have offered their help. I am using my iPhone 4S with Straight Talk. I thought I had mentioned this in my original post, again...I apologize for misleading/misinforming you all. I know that this probably has something to do with the MMS issue, but I still posted here bc I'm not the only person using their iPhone with Straight Talk's service and assumed there were others out there scratching their heads with the same trouble.

Then you will have to take the issue up with Straight Talk.
Since they are not a supported carrier, all features may not work. Apple has nothing to do with this.

Messaging worked fine on my iPhone 4s with iPS 6.0.0, but now it's unable to send MMS Messages since upgrading to iOS 6.0.1. It just keeps giving the ! Not Delivered note.
Resetting the network settings didn't solve anyting...

MMS gives no such response, iMessage does.
Try disabling iMessage then re-enabling.
