why can i not downgrade to ios 5.1.1

I have been on the phone with apple regarding downgrading from IOS 6 to the working IOS 5.1.1.

They say it is impossible now, but was possible a few days ago.

So my question is: how can I work around this stupidity and get my phone working again.

If it was possible a few days ago it should be possible now.

The Apple guy did say that it might be possible with jailbeak and then came with all the talk about it ruining the agreement with Apple.

I just want a working phone.

I have found the IOS 5.1.1. but itunes wont let me install it.

Please help I'm desperat here

Ther has never been any legit way at all to downgrade.

That did not really help with my problem Roaminggnome.

I'm sure there is a way and I'm sure a few people here knows how to fix this problem.

And then Apple will have a bunch of happy costumers.

And we will all be happy again. Simple as that.

There is no legit way at all to downgrade.

Discussion of illegit ways are not permitted here ans risk your iphone even further.

You can try the basics: restart, reset, restore

roaminggnome is right. anything that is not support by apple (downgrading IOS) is not to be talk about on this forum.

Hey, i dunno. I guess these blobs are different for each device. I find that hard to believe, though. Try buying a used one with the fw u want, then use redsn0w.
