Lines and static across iPhone5 keyboard

It's happened to me as well once or twice. At first I thought I had imagined it. Guess not. No bueno.

It's happened to me twice now. It's always during a password entry field for me.

I have seen this once on my

iPhone 5 / 64GB / Black / Verizon

while entering an iTunes password

I get it very frequently when entering password for AppStore. It's across the screen left to right, about where I'm entering my password.

My wife also noticed this problem, as have two coworkers. I'm interested to hear whether it's a software or hardware issue.

I've this problem have seen it several times now on the apple id login page

It has happen to me as well. Just received my iphone 5 yesterday. White 16gb verizon

I am seeing the same thing on my White iPhone 5 64GB.

I'm having the same issue on my black 16gb iPhone 5. I tried to take a screen shot but it doesn't show up in the shot. I'm going to the apple store on tue.

I was gettin the same thing. I went to the Genius Bar and they took my phone in the back, opened it up, and tightened something. It seemed to be gone but then came back.

I made a second visit to the Genius Bar and said the issue had not been resolved. I was told to "suck it up" because it's only the black keyboard and is a software issue.

I don't think it's software because I should be able roger a screen capture of it. Every time it happens and I take a screen capture the lines don't show up in the screen capture but are, in reality, still there.

Leads me to believe its something with the video controller, during black keyboard interfacing.

I can still deal with it till a fix is promulgated.

This same issue has happened to me. I have only had my 5 for 3 days, and it has happened more than a handful of times. It seams to always occur when entering my password through the app store. I never had this issue with my 4s which also was running ios6, so it would seam to me that it is maybe a 5 specific problem. May not be necessarily a hardware issue though. I am not sure, but it is very annoying for this to be happening on something I spent so much money on. I hope Apple will resolve this.

Same, I've had my iPhone 5 16GB for 3 days now and I get the lines whenever I enter a password in itunes.

Same issue on mine. I can replicate it 9/10 times. Sprint iPhone 5 16gb (black).
