iPhone 5 camera issues with flash on

I am having the Same Issue / Problem / Fault.

Its like the Flash and Taking the Pic are not in Sync.

I made a dark room last night and did some tests of Photos with Flash on. It failed.

Did same Test with my Iphone 4 and the pics are bright and Clear.

Iphone 5 Pics are almost Black.

Is this a fault in all Iphone 5s or just mine? Should I be taking it back?

Same exacpt problem with my iPhone 5 64gb. A reboot helps for a while but goes back to the same problem.

Yep Did the Same thing and looks like its working for now....

Held Down Home Button and Lock Button until I saw the Apple Icon.

And looks like it works

rebooting is temporary. It came back, I even tried restoring, still flash is out of sync...

I will keep an eye on. If I have any more Issues I will post. If no post means all working still from me.

When you Reboot how long you think before you see the issue happening again?

Same issue here. I thought initially it was my case but took it off and it did the same thing

we have also the same problem...but now i see, the room musn't be dark...if you make photo with flash outside on midday, the photos will also dark

I agree with siddo we should not have to Restart / re set.

It’s been 24hours since my restart now and all tests since my restart are fine.

If happens again I will be seeing apple.

Camera is still good with no Re start in 2 days so looks like its ok - for now

I have had the same issue... when I turn off the phone and turn it back on it seems to resolve the issue. Must be a software glitch that Apple can fix.

Same issue here: Black iPhone 5 64GB model... Hopefully iOS 6.0.1 update will be able to fix this issue. It seems like the camera shutter snaps the image in between to two LED flashes...

Same issu:e black iPhone 5 16GB ... need to reboot it every day.

I am going on my 3rd iPhone 5 white 16GB within in the first month of purchase. Same camera issue with the flash. The Apple Genius told me it was an software issue. I have no buyers remorse anymore so I am stuck with this issue until the 2nd batch is release or an software update.

Same issue. Does 6.0.1 update solve this matter?
