From your Users Library... Follow this Path...

users/yourname/library/application support/iwork/pages/templates/my templates

If using Lion... in Finder, hold down the Option key while clicking on the Go menu and your users Library will appear...

Hi Peter,

Many thanks for your input. I can actually get into "My Templates" folder which is in the "Templates Chooser" of Pages and have managed to create some of my own templates, but now want to delete some I have made because they are superceeded.

If I highlight the template I want to delete and pull down the Edit menu the 'delete' option is NOT highlighted and therefore will not operate. If I bring up the whole template as a page I can delete it as above but all it deletes is the copy on the template it does not get rid of the whole template !

Any advice ?

David

You don't delete templates or any documents from within Pages. Deleting of files from your Mac is done in Finder. You need to open the My Templates folder in Finder by clicking on the path others have describled. Then select the files you want to delete & drag them to the Trash or use File > Move to Trash. Maybe a couple of pictures will help.
