iPad 2 - IOS6 - Importing photos from camera not working

iv'e got the same problem too.

i believe that's only by fotos that are taken as portrait format!

can any one confim this?

which camera do you use?

i have the problem with a Nikon D90.

i will check with my girlfriends camera if there is the same problem.

i hope the problem is not specific for the nikon D90.

It happens on Sony SLT as well and its portraits or landscape via usb.

Exactly Same CMOS sensor 12.3 megapixel By 4288 × 2848.

Maybe this is the problem. I will test it with a little higher test shot in portrait.

Can you show us the exactly resolution of your camera?

And please test it in a lower resolution!

If it's a alpha 500 then we can focus the resolution problem

I used to get them fine on IOS 5

I have the same issue, also with a Nikon D90 and iPad 2. Importing worked perfectly for me on iOS5 and now I can only import landscape.

Apple please get your crap together! iOS6 is an embarassment.

I have Nikon D300. Problems with portrait pictures only. I just kept trying like the following:

- when it hit a portrait photo, it fails, I stop the import

- try from where it failed, keep trying until it works

- the photo app may crash, try again

- until I got everything imported

Flaky!!

I also have a Lumix GF3. I import directly using the SD card. No issue.

Same problem here. Using a nikon D3200. Photo's taken with my Canon Ixus camera can be imported.

The Nikon D3200 uses a CMOS sensor with 24.7 million pixels.

I made 5 pictures with different sizes. Basis, Normal, Fine, Raw, Raf+Jpg

No one can be imported

I'm using a Nikon D300s. I have imported RAW files to my iPad 2 without any problems using various brands and speeds of SD cards through the USB camera connection kit in iOS5 for a year and a half. Now with the iOS6, I cannot import any pictures - portrait or landscape- at all. At a standstill now, since I use the iPad to view out in the field, I sure hope to get some help soon. Please try different resolutions not quality settings like basic,fine and so

Switch sizes from L to M and S and try it I have test it with my d90 and if the size

Was reduced to size m it was working well.
