Unable To View System Information

Hi there!

To make a long story short, I had to reformat and partioned my drive. During this process, I forgot my "short name" and guessed incorrectly when I put in a new one. I figured out the problem, and prior to loading any apps or anything, I created a new account, with full privledges, and logged into it. Now I had an account with my old "short name" and I could retrieve files from a backup. I deleted the original "account" as I wasn't going to need it. Well, since this little exercise, when I clikc Apple>About This Mac, the button for "more info" is grayed out and obviously does not work.

Anyone run into this before? Any ideas would be appreciated, I really would like this to work correctly...

Bob
