Sep 24, 2012 6:09 PM in response to Synistby statue311,I have had ATV for a while, but I did the update today and now the photo stream keeps giving me unable to sign in message. It worked fine before the update.

Sep 24, 2012 6:17 PM in response to Synistby SpyroG,Had same issue when I updated Apple TV to ios 5.1 earlier today. Just got it working.
Aparently Apple TV has no option to agree to new terms.
Install icloud program on your MAC or PC and then run.
After signing in with your apple ID it prompts for terms of use acceptance.
Once you have checked and agreed, cancel the computer to icloud sync
and exit program.
Try Apple TV Photo Stream again. It will now let you log in.
Hope this helps.

Sep 24, 2012 8:34 PM in response to Synistby Synist,Update:
Still no luck with my original Apple ID, but I created a "dummy" id and everything worked fine. I tried logging in with my other (original) apple id and same error message. I even went and changed the password on the orriginal ID and STILL error messages.
Now I suppose I could just use this new "dummy" ID, but it would just be a pain in the *** to go through and chnage all my ohter account info etc. I'd really just like to figure out why it refuses to log on with my ID that works everywhere else.

Sep 25, 2012 3:01 PM in response to terryfromnewhavenby Nijntje,I've confirmed that disconnecting the ethernet cable and using Wi-Fi instead solves the problem. Ethernet is completely broken with this updates, even though using a time capsule.

Sep 25, 2012 6:59 PM in response to Nijntjeby epot,Thanks Nijntje!
Switching the connection to WiFi solves the problem. Definitely a bug as I'm using the same router for connecting to WiFi and ethernet for the Apple TV.
