Sep 26, 2012 6:13 AM in response to Synistby Stars1962,Confirmed. Using WiFi fixes the problem.
I have several Apple TV 2nd Gen and they all worked fine.
Only my Apple TV 3rd Gen is exhibiting this problem.
After connecting to PhotoStream via WiFi, i switched back to Ethernet and it seems to be working.
Evrthing worked before that I tried except PhotoStream. Netflix, Hulu, iTunes Store, iTunes Match, Stuff from my Computer, You Tube, Trailers. Only Photostream was unable to connect.
I took a new picture and it took a while, but eventually Photostream picked it up on the Apple TV 3rd Gen.

Sep 26, 2012 7:06 AM in response to Jeffreyliouby Stars1962,Curious whether everyones problems are with Apple TV 3rd Gen (1080p version) or if some of the problems were with the 2nd Gen version?
I upgraded 4 2nd gens with no problems at all!
Thanks

Sep 26, 2012 7:59 AM in response to Hans Pouwby epot,Hans,
Can you verify if your problem is resolved by taking new photo and see if Photo Stream is updated with the new photo? Because until now whenever I switch to ethernet, Photo Stream (and all other apps with same issue) stops working.
Yes it will not return an error when you launch Photo Stream but it doesn't mean that connectivity is not broken. You might be seeing your cache when you launch Photo Stream using ethernet.
Please confirm.

Sep 26, 2012 8:12 AM in response to epotby Stars1962,Using ethernet, my photostream was updated with the new picture.... it seemed to take longer than usual though, but it DID eventually add the picture to the stream.

Sep 26, 2012 10:25 AM in response to Synistby rogeriol,I tried to use both Wifi and ethernet and the issue persists.
Then I figured out that the problem only appear when I use a AppleID that's not a Me.com account.
With a me.com account, there's no problem with PhotoStream.
On the iCloud.com there's no notice about the changed terms of use for non me.com accounts!

Sep 26, 2012 2:40 PM in response to Hans Pouwby Oswald Bastable,Hans - well done at finding a work-around!
The problem goes away if I connect using wi-fi and sign in again through photo stream.
But... If I go back to Ethernet I get the "unable to sign in" message again.
I'm using the third generation (1080p) Apple TV and am based in the UK.
We need a proper fix please Apple...

Sep 26, 2012 7:04 PM in response to Synistby rogeriol,Problem solved!
So simple!
On you Mac (or PC), Go to Settings/Icloud and logout your AppleID. Then logon (with the problematic AppleID) again e accept the new terms of Use.
After that, go to AppleTV and enjoy PhotoStream.
