xserve update drives, which 3 or 4Tb drive works?

Hello

We have an Xserver from 2007 with one 1Tb Seagate ST31000340NS Drive & 2 pcs 2 Tb Hitachi HUA723020ALA640

This Server runs an an Filemaker Server App

Now we want to replace those 3 drive with new ones in the Size of 3 or 4 Tb

Has someone experience which drive are working. I reminder this xserve is very critical. In the past it doesn't recognize WD drives

Regards

Gérard

The problem is, depending on the OS version your are running, you probably won't be able to recognize anything larger than 2.2TB. I have an Xserve 2,1 and I can't get anything larger than 2.2 TB yet. I can't even partition 1Tb and 2TB on a 3TB drive. WD and Seagate no go. My understanding it is a hardware limitation. My MacPro has no issues recognizing any size drive.
