iOS6/iPhone 5: Music automatically starting back up
I have a strange issue with iOS6 that isn't really a problem but is certainly a defect. I noticed that when I turned off my alarm in the morning or after answering a call that the music (or podcast) would automatically start playing even if it wasn't playing before the call. What I've figured out is that if the music is stopped by some automatic mechanism such as unplugging the headphones of using "Stop Playing" in the timer then after a phone call or alarm the music will start back up. I haven't tested on my 4S with iOS6 yet but it definitely happens in my 5.
Here are the steps to reproduce:
Scenario A
1. Play music or a podcast using your headphones.
2. Remove your headphones and the music will stop as expected.
3. Call you phone from another phone, answer and then hang up.
4. In my case after a brief pause the music will then start playing through the internal speaker.
Scenario B
1. Play music or a podcast using the external speaker.
2. Set the timer to stop the music after a specified time
3. Set an alarm to occur any time after the music would have been stoped by the timer.
4. Turn off the alarm when it sounds and again the music will start back up on it's own.
Not a huge problem obviously but I'm curious if this is happening for anyone else.
