Q: when i try to access the appstore through passbook I'm always told "cannot connect to App store". why is this?

How do i use passbook? Can i put my existing storecards & loyalty cards onto passbook and if so, how? when i try to connect to the app store through the passbook app I always get the message - "cannot connect to the App store". do I need specific apps to use on passbook and if I do how do i get them?

 

seems a good idea but can't seem toget it to work at the moment...

    You can add passes/tickets to PassBook from within the apps that support it. Right now there are about a dozen or so that do. When you launch PassBook for the first time and have no passes it will direct you to the App store so you can download passbook enabled apps.

     

    There is a bug that is causing PassBook to give the error you are referring to. Search the forums here as this issue has been discussed many times and solutions are available in the threads.
