Password Protection for Pages

Forums suggest using Inspector/Document to password protect a Pages file, but I don't have this facility on my Inspector - there is nothing under the 'Hyphenate'/'Use Ligatures' check boxes on my Inspector which is where the Password Protection facility should be.

I am on OS 10.5.8 and my Pages is '08 3.0.3

Any advice?

That feature wasn't included in Pages 08.

You can use an Encrypted Disk Image to store the file securely. Create in Disk Utility.
