Q: iPod shut down during update won't work

I did a hard shutdown of my iPod during the iOS 6 update and now it won't connect to my computer to let me fix the problem...all I get is a blue screen.

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6

You may need a computer app like the free HandBrake to convert the format to one compatible with the iPod.

Sometimes it take three or four time trying recovery mode to get it to work.
