recently updated os and iPhoto...now events do not sync in same order as iphoto

I recently updated to OS 10.8.2 on my MacBook Pro and OS 6 on my iPhone 4s. Once again an anomoly has occurred when syncing iPhoto to my phone. I organize my events in iPhoto manually. When they are synced to the phone, they appear in some random order (not by date). It makes it difficult to search for photos on the phone when the order is not the same as on my MacBook. This anomoly had been fixed with the previous (older) update and has now reoccurred with the current update. Yes...for immediate needs with clients, I simply create albums of critical events. Albums are always in order on both devices. But I can't believe this irritating problem has started again. Wondering if anyone has a solution...or if we have to wait for another fix like we did before. Thanks.
