how do I find quicktime registration key older than 18 months?

have quicktime pro older than 18 months but can't find anything online to retrieve my registration key. apple just keeps sending me round and round and when I called the automated dude said I had to have an apple serial number in order to proceed with phone support - but quicktime runs on my pc. Any help?
