Q: MAPI was unable to load the informaiton service. APLZOD.dll

When trying to open ICloud Contacts in Outlook 2010 I receive an error message:

 

The set of folders can not be opened. An unexpected error has occured.  MAPI was unable to load the information service. APLZOD.dll

iPhone 3GS (8GB), Windows 7

    I run Windows 7.  Just upgraded from Outlook 2007 to Outlook 2016.  Now when I try to display my iCloud calendar, I get the same error message you are experiencing.  Uninstalled/reinstalled iCloud for Windows...no luck.

     

    Can someone please advise?  Thanks in advance.
