How to downgrade iOS 6 to iOS 5.1.1 ipad2?

Apple do not support downgrades.

Question may still be open but that is the only answer you will get.

Not only is it an answer, it is a correct answer, a concise answer, the only correct answer, and one that has been asked and correctly answered hundreds of times already.

If you want a different answer, go elsewhere. However, it will not be correct.

It has been the policy of Apple since iOS was first released that downgrading of iOS was not supported.

Apple hosts this forum, so you won't find solutions Apple does not support here. If they don't support it, it is usually for good reason.

the bottom line is that Apple does not and probably never will support you downgrading. sorry, thats just the truth. however, just because Apple wont support it doesn't mean it cant be done. however as this is an Apple support comunity, you wont find the answer here.

also remember that if you look for answers outside of Apple you deserve what you get, be careful. the magic of Apple is in its simplicity, the dark side is that in order to keep things simple you have to restrict some complexities 😝 🙂

easy2do. Don't be fooled by these Level 6 people. You get to Level 6 here by clicking "Like" and "That Helped Me" buttons. Not by actually helping people. They love to tell you they don't have a solution and say that there is no solution. Look elsewhere, these people are no help to anyone.

Like anything in life, something is impossible until it is possible. Another forum about this issue has 45,000 views in 2 weeks. People are looking for an answer. When they find it you might also know it.

Unfortunately for the moment the solution is not clear. Certainly it won't come from Apple though as they don't care about your wants any more, they care about their money. Short term selfish thinking has taken over.
