I'm using PCs for a long time, and i had enough of them. Now I'm thinking about switching to Mac. I am thinking about Macbook Pro 15" (non-Retina), and I like it alot. But there is one problem, or better said question. Resolution is 1440x900, so I don't know if that's enough. So is 1440x900 enough for 15"? By the way, my current laptop has 17" that has 1600x900.

Is it enough for what? That's your call based on your needs. Nobody here can say.
I too was a PC user for many years, and decided to buy a MacBook Pro, non-retina 15" a few weeks ago and haven't regretted it one bit. The resolution is a matter of preference but I haven't had any problems adapting.
I would use it for some video editing, internet, playing some games, school projects, etc.
Take a trip to your local Apple retailer and see for yourself.

Well, this is very subjective. But you can purchase the wide screen. There is an anti-glare or glossy display option each of which is $100.00. This extends the screen resolution to 1680 x 1050.
Thanks for suggestion, I do know about that option, but problem is that I live in Croatia, and you can't buy upgraded or customized mac. But 1440x900 seems fine to me because it has slightly more ppi that my current laptop.
I can tell you that I've been using Apple laptops for a long time, and have not had any problems with the current resolutions. FWIW. 🙂
