How do I turn off the "Find my iPad Alert" on my ipad?

Just for fun, I used the "Find my iPad" function on iCloud. I found my iPad, then pushed the "Play a sound" option. Now I have a message on my iPad screen that says, "Find My iPad Alert" with a big "OK" button. When I press OK, nothing happens. So, basically, I'm locked out of my iPad, even though I didn't use the Lock function. 😟

How can I get past this?

That was annoying!

So you hold down the sleep and home buttons at the same time and the iPad will reset, going to black (no need to slide to turn off) and then after a few moments the Silver Apple will appear. Then you will get your home screen. If you set a pass code in Find My iPhone, it will now ask you to enter it. When you do, you will be back in business as usual.

Good luck!
