I'm trying to buy an iPhone 4s but was wondering if they ALL take sim cards.
My friend is offering me a CDMA iPhone but I am with T-Mobile (GSM Network).
Would I be able to use it on T-Mobile if I got the new sim card? I'm hearing mixed answers and would like to hear a straight answer.

No, all iPhone 4s devices do not use SIM cards. You cannot use a CDMA iPhone 4s, on a T-Mobile network.

Because I'd like to find out which answer is right. Just wondering though, why are they called worldwide phones? I heard that's why I would be able to use a Verizon (for example) on T-Mobile? And I have another friend who has a Verizon iPhone but is using it on T-Mobile.. I'm not sure how but would not like to purchase an iPhone to find out that I wouldn't be able to use it. Thank you!
Yes, all iPhone 4Ss have SIM card slots. However, it's a bit more complicated than that. Verizon and Sprint will both unlock the GSM SIM slot on a 4S for international roaming. The phones won't work on GSM networks in the U.S.
I just would like to say that I did call Apple and they told me that I can use ANY iPhone 4s (not 4) on T-Mobile but getting it unlocked could be a big problem for the iPhones that are not already Factory Unlocked.
