Sep 26, 2012 10:21 AMby dj urbnassault,Yeah there is a red X, with the apple.com/support attached to it. It gives a clicking sound also. I can't do anything with it. I tried plugging it in and nothing happened. I am wondering if I need a new battery, but I don't recall this problem on one of my other iPods when I needed a battery. How hard is it to pull out the battery, and where do you get one besides apple?

There are several online retailers who offer replacement parts for iPods. I tend to stick with iFixit even though they are priced a bit higher. However, each part contains a step-by-step guide on how to swap it out.
