Sharing iBooks

My wife and I have different iPads and have separate iTunes accounts. How can we share each other's ibooks?

iPad 2, iOS 5

Do you sync to the same computer ? If you do then you should be able to copy the ibooks from your iPad to that computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases and they can then be synced to your wife's iPad via the device's Books tab (and similarly for her ibooks to your iPad).

If you use separate computers then you should be able to copy them from your computer via a flash drive to her's, and then add them (as long as your account is authorised on it) to her computer's iTunes via File > Add To Library (you don't want to login into your account on her computer or iPad and re-download them on it as you might then tie her computer or iPad to your account for 90 days : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627)
