I'm running Vista home edition. I've just downloaded the latest updates to itunes and now the program refuses to open at all. Help!!

I just did the itunes upgrade on my laptop running Vista. Now I can't open/run itunes. Any ideas???

Do you get an error message when you try to launch iTunes? If so, what does it say? (Precise text, please.)

No error message. I click on the icon and it starts as though it will connect and then stops.
