Q: why will blue mountain mystery not install on my ipod

I bought thomas and friends blue mountain mystery on apple TV and downloaded it to itunes. I was able to copy it to my ipad but not to my itouch 4th gen. Why?

Open itunes. Connect ipod touch. Click the name on the left under devices. You are on the summary page. Click on apps in the same bar as the word summary. Sync apps has to be checked. App listed below needs to be checked if all isn't chosen. Click apply (it says sync if you don't change anything).

Thanks for your response. It is not the app that it the problem it is the movie i downloaded. I just re-read my initial question and realized i did not make that distinction. Any thought on that?
