I am subscribed to an iCal at work. I only "show" the subscribed iCal when I need to look at it for a specific reason.

Otherwise, the calendar on my iPhone 4S is hidden. Everything is fine & peachy.

Since upgrading to iOS6, the subscribed iCal that is not suppose to showing is now sending me notifications on my calendar. Since a lot of people use the subscribed iCal and make changes all the time, I am getting notifications all the time as well, which is rather irritating.

Is there anyway to work around this? Or get it to the way it was besides deleting the iCal, which really isnt an option for me.
