A free case program(me) for the iPhone5?

Within 2 days of having my iPhone5, the back of it had large scuffs and paint scrapes despite me not actually using it as i was awaiting my number transfer from my iPhone4. I took it to the apple store and to their credit they happily swapped it for a new one, however, within 6 hours, and still with the plastic protective covering on, I've noticed chips in the bevel paintwork. From everything I've read, this is not uncommon and so it would be pointless to return this phone as it'll undoubtedly happen again to the replacement. I was wondering if anyone knows if Apple intend to address this issue by running another free case programme?
