Why is Time Machine soooo slooowwww?
I've backed up many times before in Lion.
Is it the recent .5 update that's making it so slow?
It's been an hour or more and it's only done 68 MB of 4.28 GB.
I did a clone on a different partition of the same drive and it was quick.
I am using USB, not Firewire.
iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5), iLife '08 Alesis IO|14 FW Interface
This is a problem of Spotlight in 10.7.5 which causes Time Machine to be slow, too.
