Q: iphone payments

im new to the apple gen and iv got a question.

 

im on pay as you go and i downloaded some apps and they came off my bank account rather than my credit i have on my phone,  but on my ipad it comes off the money i put in on a prepaid card.

 

how can i get the money taken off my phone credit instead of my bank card?

iPhone 4, iOS 6

If you are asking whether they can be paid for via your pay as you go credit then you can't (that is linked to your phone carrier), you can only pay via the gift cards or credit card that is linked to your iTunes account.

    right thanks thats what i was asking

     

    so as i said iv got the phone and ipad, when i download an app to one will it go to both machines or do i need to do it seperatley.

     

    does that even make sense^

    god im dumb,  right iv got money in my ipad so i download an app , does this go to my phone aswell ?

    If you want apps that you buy/download to automatically go onto the other device then on the other device you can turn 'automatic downloads' on via Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apps 'on' (Settings > Store if your iPad is not on iOS 6) : automatic downloads.

     

    That setting will only apply to new purchases, and it will only work if the particular app is compatible e.g. if it's an iPad-only app then it won't download on your iPhone, and there may also be minimum iOS version requirements for an app (if both your iPad and iPhone are on iOS 6 then you should be ok at the moment).
