Is there a way to save a pdf file that has been rendered in the browser (Chrome or Safari on the iPad) into iBooks or Dropbox?
I do a lot of research, and it would be nice to save the pdf files that I am reading on Chrome. I can't seem to figure a way to do it.
Is it even possible?

Tap and hold down on the open PDF file and you should see an Open In iBooks/Open In button in the upper right corner of the PDF. Tap that and Open In iBooks or the app of choice that appears in the pop up window.
If you have a PDF open in Safari then you should be able to tap it and an 'open in' option should appear at the top right. I don't have Chrome so I can't check if that works the same way.
Ok, I see how it works now. I wish that I could do this in Chrome but no big deal. Thanks for the fast responses!
I have Chrome. The only way that I can find to do this, and there might be an easier way - is to tap the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner of the app and select - Share. Them select Email - then email the file to yourself and save it from the email by using the same Open In options.
