how to make a screen shot?

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew how to take a screen shot on the iBook G4, or if you even can on them. I know you can on the powerbooks, but I don't have the application "grab" but i think that there is a way to do it on the keyboard, because I saw John Paul Caponigro do it when he came to my school. Hope for some replies, thanks.

If you don't want the entire screen, press simultaneously the command, shift and number 4 key - a crosshair appears. Click and drag it across the area you want to include in the image. OS writes the file to your desktop.

If you want the entire screen, same as above, except the number 3 key. File is immediately saved to the desktop.

One of my most favorite screen shot shortcuts is to hold down Shift + Command + 4 and then hit the spacebar (while the other keys are still held down). You have to do it in that sequence: first three buttons and then the space bar.

This will bring up a little camera and you can take an entire picture of any window or the Dock.

Macintosh HD -> Applications -> Grab
or Macintosh HD -> Applications -> Utilities -> Grab

Key commands:
"Apple + Control + Shift + 4" will give you a cross hair. Click and drag your mouse to darken the screen area you'd like a picture of. This option saves the picture to your clipboard so you can paste it into a word processor.
