We could all have a long wait for this fix from FB. I've been having this problem for months & from what I can see from various posts online, it's been a FB issue for quite a long time. If this was a paid for app, they'd have been gone ages ago.I have reported it numerous times to FB, but still no luck.

I had the issue when I first bought my iphone 5, then it fixed itself or I did something and it was fine. Now both my ipad and iphone are both not showing notifiations that pop down or in the notification center. Whats even more frustrating is my sister has the exact ipad (ipad 2) and iphone (iphone 5) as me and both of hers work flawlessly D: I've tried all of the above.

Just to be clear, I get notifications, but I only get sounds and vibrations for messages, when an accepted event that I was invited to is about 1 hour away and when someone uses my name. Otherwise, I only get the notification without the sound and it is Facebook only on both the iPhone and iPad with the latest iOS.

Well with the release of IO6.1 I was hoping that in doing so that the sound issue and push notifacation would some how magical fix it's self. Well one can hope. So the update came out yesterday and before updating I removed facebook for iphone through there FB and removed it from the intergration part of iphone. I did my update to ios 6 to 6.1 and what a surprise nothing. Same problem, so step further did the say process as all but did a clean installation setup as new phone. Applied facebook and so far this morning I have nothing still no sound and some notifacations coming through. So tired of dealing with this getting tired of it and of course apple or FB don't give a crap about this issue. Yes it may be small but if you search around you will see that it is affecting alot of people.

So I have same problem, and i also noticed that when i went to change push notifications in the app settings, nothing was checked and it wouldnt let me check any of the blocks. I tried so many things, and nothing worked. So i figured one of the linked apps were interfering. So, on my facebook account (from a computer) I went to 'Account Settings', 'Apps', and under 'Apps You Use' I removed everything.(you can add them back later) I then logged out and back in on my phone, went back to the mobile push settings, and everything was checked. And now i get notifications! Hope it works for you guys, let me know!

It seems there's no solution to this. Apple have tried all possible fixes for me & still FB will not stay in the Notification Centre. It will only work for that day & then when I switch off it disappears.

Hi Bill. I've had 6 Apple Support calls & no luck with them resolving the problem. With each call, the Apple Support member tried a different method to fix the problem. They all worked when we went through their method, BUT, none of them listened to the fact that once I switched off the phone, FB had completely disappeared out of the Notification Centre
