ATH.exe

Why does ATH.exe keep taking over half of my computer? How do I make it stop? I have manually shut down this process several times, but it keeps popping back up.

I have iTunes 10.7.0.21 installed on a Windows7 machine.

I am still able to use iTUnes if I shut this process down but it just slows everything down and is noisy from my computer fans to leave this process running for hours and hours, and hours...

I'm seeing the same thing since upgrading to iTunes 10.7 on Windows 7 64-bit. ATH.exe is going ape-$hit and iTunes keeps popping up the message "An iPhone has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iPhone, then try again". Except I don't have an iPhone physically connected to the computer (though there is one set for wireless sync in the network). I can't get the message to go away without killing the iTunes.exe process.

I'm assuming this is something related to wireless syncing. I really like the idea and have had it running for a few months, but at least on Windows it's kind of spotty and goes crazy every once in a while...
