How to Merge Libraries on the Same Computer

"Aperture Help" explains how to merge Libraries that are on different computers, but does not explain how to merge Libraries on the same computer, which is what I want to do. Can anyone let me know how to do this or to refer me to instructions?

Thank you.

You can use essentially the same procedure to merge libraries on the same computer.

  • Open your Aperture Library in Aperture.
  • From Aperture's main menu bar use the command "File > Import > Library" and select the library that you want to merge into your main library.
  • When prompted if you want to "merge" or "add" duplicate library items, select "merge".
  • Note: you will not be prompted to "merge" or "add", if no duplicates are detected.

Good Luck
