Sep 26, 2012 12:04 PM in response to tannatby planb77,The orange blinking lights just indicate that your iPod is communicating with iTunes and should not be disconnected.
Are you sure you have music and other content synced to it? What happens when you try to play music on the Shuffle when it is disconnected from the PC?

Sep 26, 2012 12:11 PM in response to planb77by tannat,Well-it is showing music on the device under the device tab.
Funny-I just ran diagnostics on it, and although the device is recognized under iTuens, and I can send music to it, it is failing a synch test.
The shuffle will not play music when connected to iTunes, and it will not play music when disconnected to the computer.

What generation Shuffle is it?
