Syncing Apps from iTunes to iPhone

I need to sync some games that are 50MBs or over from iTunes to my iPhone. They're apps I've already downloaded once before so I'm just re-installing them. After downloading, they appear in the "Apps" tab in the iPhone Information window. Problem I'm having is that the tab for Apps is greyed out and when I go to check the "Sync Apps" it says it'll replace all exsisting apps on my device for the ones in the Apps Library on iTunes. I don't want that. I've tried clicking the main Sync button but it doesn't sync the apps.
