Q: movie was not copied to phone because you are not authorized for it on this computer

I am having the exact same problem. Have you figured anything out yet? I did find some stuff in the forums about a similar situation when iOS5 dropped.

Without any further information, i would suggest if you havent already;

In iTunes, click the Store tab at the top of your display, followed by "Authorize this computer...".

It will prompt you to log in with your Apple ID.

I deauthorized all my computers and reauthorized them but I still can't sync Avengers and now Prometheus as well. I am wondering with the way movie companies continually try to make us do things "Their way" if they are trying to force us to live with the flixster-ultraviolet combo.

I put in a ticket with iTunes help but have not heard from them yet. I will keep everyone apprised.

Ok, Ok I got it! Here is what solved it for me:

Go to this support page http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1389

Click on the "Remove the SC Info folder" link

Follow the instructions for OSX and hopefully viola!

I tried the Remove the SC infor folder solution but my SC info was empty no folder to trash.  Any other fixes I have de authorized and re athorized over and over it does not work. I am using OSX 10.8.2

Just remove the entire SC folder and reboot. I made the mistake of not trashing the entire folder at first.
