WARNING!! FRAUDULENT EMAILS ASKING FOR APPLE CLIENTS BILLING INFO
Good Morning 🙂
I've received this morning what appears to be a Fraudulent email from the sender "Apple <Update5@InsideApple.Apple.com>". The email subject was "Update your Apple billing information" & the email body was as follows:
"Dear Customer,
It has come to our attention that your account Billing Information records are out of date. That requires you to update your Billing Information. Failure to update your records will result in account termination.
Click on the reference link below and enter your login information on the following page to confirm your Billing Information records...
Click on http://store.apple.com to confirm your Billing Information records.
Thanks,
Apple Customer Support"
When i clicked on the link provided in the email the webpage that opened had the following address:
"http://djenglish.co.uk/secure/www/store.apple.us/sign_in.htm" which i suspected at once as it starts with "http://djenglish.co.uk" & it didn't start with "https" & the address bar was not green highlighted which means that it's not a secured page..
This fraudulent email is targeting Apple Consumers Billing Information!
Please take the necessary actions to warn Apple consumers about those fraudulunt emails & also take the necessary actions to stop them..
