iPhone 5 clock stops working randomly...any fixes?
What do you mean the clock randomly "stops working"? The phone gets the time from your carrier by default. If your carrier is having problems with that, turn off the automatic time/date setting.
The clock actually stops! This has happened twice now. I know of another individual who is having the same issue. I have to reset the phone to get the clock working again. However, resetting only sets the clock to the current time, and then the clock will RANDOMLY stop working, again.
I am also having this issue. The clock seems to change randomly to where both the hours, minutes and date are all wrong. If I turn phone off and on, it is correct....until the next time. I am not able to set it manually. Otherwise, geat phone.
I've tried using the manual "time and date" option, but it does not work. My phone did the something, wrong time and date. I'm using a Verizon iPhone, not sure if that has anything to do with the issue. Everything else seems to work correctly.
I am also on Verizon. I have changed the Date & Time (settings/general) to not set automatically and hope that will work until Verizon or Apple has a fix.
I doubt this will help, but see this thread:

So far, I've only seen this reported with Verizon users.
Well, I hope it works for you, but it didn't work for me. I've tried both "automatic" and "manual" settings and both had no affect. I hope there's a fix out there.
Thanks Sk8Dreams!
You're welcome.
