Cannot sync my IPhone 5 with ITunes

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum so hoping someone can help! I have a 2009 MacBook that I have just successfully installed OS 10.6.8 to support iTunes 10.7 in order to sync my new iPhone 5. However when it is going through the sync process it seems to stop and freeze at the last stage. My contacts and apps are successfully transferred but not my music. Has anyone any ideas? Thanks!

How did you install th OS 10.6.8 because I am having trouble with that.

I was on 10.5.8 so I ordered the disc from apple, it cost £13. This updated me to 10.6.3, and from there you can do a free upgrade from the apple website to 10.6.8. And I now actually have the problem solved, I just had to restore the iPhone in iTunes and it synced correctly. Looks like it was a little glitch in the phone!
