IOS 6 on iPad 3 using NETGEAR Router
After many many calls to Apple Support regarding WIFI connection from my iPad after upgrading to iOS 6, my problem has been resolved. I have a NetGear WGT624v3 router that was working perfectly with two iPads, two iMacs and a Printer but after upgrading to iOS 6 I could no longer get connection to my router. I didn't think the problem was with my router because it had worked great on iOS 5 and was still working great with my other devices. I was told to upgrade the firmware which I did, and was told to reboot the router, and reset settings and restore the iPad and all sorts of stuff. Finally one of the area supervisors at Apple Care said he had heard going to an earlier version of the firmware fixed the problem. That didn't make a lot of sense to me - going back ward in versions, but I went to the Netgear site and downloaded firmware V2.0.212-1.0.1NA and IT FIXED THE PROBLEM. YEAH.
Hope this helps someone else.
