Please try to uninstall then re-install B4II, using the Main Komplete 5 installer
DVD..
To solve this problem, you should first COMPLETELY remove the B4II application
from your Mac following these instructions.
You need to remove the following files and folders:
--
Macintosh HD/Applications/"B4II folder"
--
Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences/com.native-instruments.B4II.plist
--
Macintosh HD/Users/your_username/Library/Preferences/com.native-instruments.B4II.plist
--
Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components/B4II.component
--
Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST/B4II.vst
--
Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST/B4IIFX.vst
--
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plug-ins/B4II.dpm
--
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/"B4II Folder"
--
Macintosh HD/Users/your_username/Library/Application Support/Native
Instruments/"B4II Folder"
++
After removing ALL of these B4II-related items, repair your Macintosh HD's Disk
Permissions, To repair disk permissions:
* Go To: Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility
* Select your OS X volume on the left side and press repair disk permissions
++
Once Permissions Repair is complete, Custom-reinstall Only B4II from the original
Komplete 5 installer DVD (disk #1).
NOTE: selecting "custom installation" will allow you to select
Only the programs that you wish to install, and you will be
able to de-select the sample libraries, since you do not need to
re-install them..
++
NOTE: toward the end of installation, you are asked if you would like
to start the service center setup now.. since you already have
service center installed, you can say no to this, and safely
exit the installer..
Once installed, activate, then run the most recent B4II update again.
*If this doesn't work then call Native Instruments customer service and they will email you everything you need to get the old version up and running again. 1-866-556-6487.
