Photo booth video

/>/Library/Preferences - trash the com.apple.PhotoBooth.plist file, repair permissions, restart your computer. If the video now shows up in PhotoBooth's shelf, empty the trash.

Go to Applications>Utilities>Disk Utility and select your volume and then select Repair Permissions. Detailed instructions are also in the os Help menu.

I could not find the video on photo booth, but I did locate the file on the computer.

Where?

I can see that it is the right video file and that it is 94MB, but I am unable to open it.

Which application, Quicktime? Which version? Have you tried opening the video in VLC or RealPlayer?

PhotoBooth is connected to the iSight cam. Try the solutions mentioned in the article - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2090 since trashing the plist file did not work.

As a last resort you can custom reinstall PhotoBooth directly from your system disc that came with your computer or install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1
