Does iPad import RAW file or JPEG of the RAW file??

Camera connector kit works just fine when inserting SDHC memory card with RAW files. Does iPad import a JPEG of the RAW only or both??

If a JPEG only, then I would assume that I need to save the RAW files to another media, ie., computer, hard drive, etc.
