Microsoft Exchange Outlook calendar to my phone ical but not my iMac

I have Microsoft Exchange at work which pushes my Outlook calendar to my iphone icalendar which pushes to my iCloud which pushes to my iPad but not my iMac computer. The only thing that will show up on my iMac iCal is a yellow dot with no details yet all of the details can be seen on my iPad and iPhone. How can I get the same level of details onto my home computer so my family can see my calendar?
