Oct 4, 2012 8:06 AM in response to lijeuby jallende,I had this question too. I found the answer on another forum where a user answered his own question. He simply put the phone in airplane mode. This made it so that it would no longer attempt to send data. After that you can choose edit, then delete the stuck outgoing email. Worked perfectly for me.

Simply turned on airplane mode - then could go in and delete from the outbox.

I have to Restarted it (by press and hold both Home + Power Button in Airplane Mode).
Then the "Edit" button active which will allow me to delete it.
OMG this is very ignoring!
Sometime affected the pictures or documents sharing via email.

Aug 16, 2016 5:59 PM in response to Greenercoby kathleeninflorida,TThanks so much for this great tip. This has happened to me twice and it is annoying. I went to airplane mode and then restarted my iPhone 6 Plus and then I could access the edit button in the outbox and delete the stuck email.
