I am getting "Could not load iCloud preference pane." when trying to engage icloud through desktop system preferences. I just downloaded ML to my 2010 macbook pro. I also am unable to engage Safari. Chrome is working. I cleared all histories/cookies.

Any ideas what I need to do to get the issues resolved?

I have cleared histories/cookies, emptied trash, turned off any unnecessary programs that were running, restarted multiple times after each idea was tried.

I dont find these issues when doing a search, but realize Mountain Lion 10.8.2 is not very old yet.

I WAS able to sign on to cloud ultilizing the System Preferences from the Apple icon. But Find My Mac cannot be located. I just keep getting iCloud lit up. No icon appears.

Experience with Mac: Been playing with them since the mid 1980's 🙂

Have owned 4 of the 6 iPhone versions, 2 versions of the Touch, and an iPad.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2010), iOS 6, Loaded ML update today.
