We have a problem that whilst the settings for a folder are set to share accoss 3 new (2012) iMacs using lion, some of the files change their settings in the sub folders. sometimes half a photo collection is un-viewable by other users! I have to go into "info" and change the settings for all the files!
E.G.
The folder is set up by user A.
the global Photo's folder is set to share read and write from sharing in preferences
sub folders of years exist then individual job folders.
i.e. Photos/12/Building site A
pictures are copied into the folder Building site A
Users B and C open the photo file and half the photos are unviewable as they don't have permission!!
this happens with other types of folders and files.
some folders for documents let you see the files but not read and write!
Any help appreciated.
